where does god hide?

Every one of us have had times when we really needed God immediately.  We will say or think, where is God?  Is He busy with someone else?  Is He hiding from me?  We all know where He is, He is sitting on His throne of grace watching every thing about our lives.

Psalm 121:4 He will never slumber nor sleep; He is the guardian of His people.

The minute God hears our prayers or our cries He is ready to respond in His time.  Think about this: if God responded immediately every time we called on Him, then He would be our servant!  But we are His servants, so He deals with us and our problems in a manner He chooses.  God is faithful and reliable, He always responds according to His Word.  Remember that when the Apostle Paul was tormented by the messenger of satan he besought the Lord three times to get him off his back.  What did the Lord say to him?  He said “My grace is all you need.”  God had a purpose for Paul to endure his hardship, so He gave him a supernatural empowerment to endure every fiery dart of the evil one.  God’s grace was so affective in Paul’s life that he began to take pleasure in the persecution and stress from the devil.

John 16:33 In the world you will have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

No matter what the devil throws at us, Jesus has already defeated it, but he never gives up trying to make our lives unblessed.  The devil is defeated well before he initiates his plans for our lives, our hope is in the Lord even before He shows up.  We are a people in search of our victory, we are not to “try” anything we are to just do it.  Let me share a little secret, the devil is more afraid of us than we are of him.  Why do Christians walk around with a defeated attitude?  Because they don’t know any better!  Religion has offered Christians a devil that is equal to God in power!  The Bible tells us that Jesus stripped the devil of all the power he took from Adam, Jesus disarmed him for all eternity.

1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your care over on to the Lord; for He cares for you.

What happens when a believer takes on the burden of caring for himself?  God sits back and lets us do what we want to do, He will not come down and wrestle your worries away from you.  If you call for God to help you but continue to deal with your problem you are double minded.  God will not intervene unless He is given all authority, He does not need our help.  Who do you think can handle our problems the best, us or God?  One of the major reasons we doubt God’s divine intervention is because He handles things differently than how we think He ought to.

Hebrews 13:5 I will never leave you, nor forsake you.

I dare say, God   is far more committed to us than we are to Him.  He is far more reliable than we are.

God is hiding in plain sight.

Don’t ever let the devil lead you to believe that God is ignoring you, remember the devil is a liar.  God never hides from  us and we have no place to hide from Him.

    OFFERING DECLARATION
I know the will of my Lord,
He takes pleasure in my prosperity.
He died to make me rich,
He became the curse for me.
If I yield to poverty and lack,
    I will disappoint my Lord.
Now I got my mind right,
    I am ready to prosper,
    spirit, soul and body.
