the laws of prosperity
It is God’s will that every born-again believer prosper spirit, soul and body. There will always be those who excel on prosperity above all others. Now, why is that? Does God have favorites? Does He love some above others? The fulfillment of God’s Word can come in degrees, depending on how much the believer gives himself to it. Faith is like a muscle, we all have muscles but some are more dedicated to developing their muscles more than others. The laws that govern prosperity are the same for everyone, some totally commit and others are more reserved.
Genesis 1:29 And God gave Adam every herb bearing seed and every seed of the fruit tree to be his food.
The law of prosperity was introduced in the Garden of Eden. We call it the law of Genesis; every seed will produce after its own kind. A man’s prosperity will depend on his willingness to sow. I use to work for commercial farmers when I was a kid. The farmers took the “cream of their crop” and set it aside, it was never sent to market. This was their seed for the next years planting, if they ate their seed they would have nothing to sow.
Galatians 6:7 A man’s harvest in life depends entirely on what he sows.
We determine what we reap, not God. He gave us the law and it’s our choice what we do with it. Sowing is not exclusively restricted to the tangible, the Father sowed His Son and has reaped many sons. Prayer can be a seed, kind gestures can be a seed and mistreating people can be a seed! We cannot prosper if we plant the weeds of discontentment, Jesus is the Lord of the harvest of only the good seed. Some folks get confused over tithing and sowing, so let’s explain the difference.
Malachi 3:10 Bring all your tithes into the storehouse and I will pour you out the blessing.
God commanded Israel to tithe so He could bless them, it was under the law. Abraham gave God his tithes before the law of Moses was introduced. The New Testament church has not been commanded to tithe, we don’t have to tithe. We get to. The law is still in effect, when we give the Lord our tithes He opens the windows of heaven where there are no limits of the blessings. The tithe is not about money, it’s all about faith and obedience. The storehouse is the place God placed you to be fed His Word.
Malachi 3:11 And I will rebuke the seed eater for your sakes and he will not destroy the fruit of your ground saith the Lord.
Sowing seed and tithing are two different programs. The tithe belongs to the Lord. When we tithe we don’t give anything of our own. When we sow a seed the harvest belongs to us and God will see to it that we get what we sowed for. Now we can sow sparingly or bountifully depending on how developed our faith is. The law, by definition, is something that works the same every time. It’s like the law of gravity, if you jump off a building ten times you will hit the ground ten times. The more you develop your faith the more proficient you become at working the laws Father has given us. You can prosper just as much as you want to and God will take pleasure in your prosperity.

I know the will of my Lord,
He takes pleasure in my prosperity.
He died to make me rich,
He became the curse for me.
If I yield to poverty and lack,
I will disappoint my Lord.
Now I got my mind right,
I am ready to prosper,
spirit, soul and body.
