We have done a pretty good job of living by faith and we know it’s not optional. I don’t know all there is to know about using my faith, and I’m still learning. It seems that sometimes I get results sooner than later and sometimes I get results later than sooner. Is this just the way it is or am I missing something here?

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing and hearing and hearing the Word of God.

Well if faith can cometh then faith can goeth! We can build up our faith and even store it up, but once we use it we must replace what we used. This explains why we feel “wrung out” after having stood on our faith for a season. Our faith is depleted and we are fearful of another occasion where we would need to use what we don’t have. We must discipline ourselves that after a victory that we don’t spend too much time resting and rejoicing. We need to replenish our reservoir of faith. We need to position ourselves to hear the Word.

Acts 6:5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen a man full of faith  and the Holy Ghost.

Everyone associated with Stephen knew he was full of faith and the Holy Ghost.

VS. 8 And Stephen full of faith and power did great wonders and miracles among the people.

It would appear that   Stephen stayed full of the Word, his faith moved the hand of God. In order to have faith for the supernatural we must be selective of what we give ourselves to. We won’t glean much faith by studying all the wars Israel fought. We will get no faith from the doctrines of men. Religion makes excuses for God; faith makes a way. When I want faith, I go to the Gospels and the Epistles. I always have a guest speaker in my truck preaching faith to me.

Romans 14:1 Accept other  believers who are weak in faith and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong.

People who are weak in faith don’t have the material they need to build themselves up. Arguing with them is not the solution, demonstrating what  strong faith can do is the answer. People cannot argue against proven results; now they can correct themselves. One day Jesus got into a boat with His disciples to cross over to the other side. He fell asleep in the back of the boat and was not disturbed  when a great storm threatened to capsize the boat. The disciples were afraid and woke Him up.

Mark 4:40 He said unto them, why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?

I can tell you why they had no faith! Jesus spent the  entire day preaching to them about the parable of the sower, but they didn’t listen to Him. They let the devil steal the word out of their heart before it could take root. Consequently, the cares of the world entered in  and choked out the Word. Jesus rebuked them because they knew better. He cut them no slack. We have no excuse for not having faith. If we lack the faith to do what He has called us to do it’s our fault. So give yourself to the Word of God. Stay full because you don’t know when you may need to spend your reserves.

OFFERING DECLARATIONJust like the women who helped Jesus, I too can be like them.
God will receive my offerings and use them to build His church.
What He did for them, He will do more for me.
I don’t give donations, rather I sow seed and I will reap a harvest, so help me God.
