On Wings of Praise

If you ask any Holy Ghost preacher they will tell you that God is pouring out revelation faster than we can preach it. I believe there are key elements we need in these last days to fulfill the last of the prophesies. God is doing a new thing that we would be wise to embrace. It’s only new to us, not Him. All the believers praise God to some degree but do we understand what happens when the Saints sustain praise for Him? Praise is a sacrament given to the church to exercise His supernatural power.
There was a time in the history of Israel when Jehoshaphat was King. A very large army decided to attack Israel for no obvious reason. Nothing has changed in all these years. Armies are still attacking Israel. Jehoshaphat was afraid so he called the whole country together and began to pray. God spoke to them and told them that He would fight their battle for them. All they needed to do is come to the cliff of Ziz and watch.
                                                                  2 Chronicles 20:21
Then Jehoshaphat appointed singers that they would go before the army and say: Praise the Lord; for His mercy endures forever. 22. And when they began to praise, the opposing armies destroyed one another.

It’s time we take praise out of the box, that we put it in for Sunday morning and expand it to every aspect of our lives. Praise is a sacred event, but it does not have restrictive places of practice. By definition, praise is confessing spiritual truths and there is no prescribed time or place. One day, I was golfing with some dudes I didn’t know. From the very first hole they made it clear that they had “potty” mouths. They began to cuss and take my Lord’s Name in vain. So I began to praise Him openly. If they can take His Name and curse, I can take His Name and praise Him. They stopped cussing immediately.
                                                                 Psalm 22:3
You are Holy Lord, You inhabit the praises of Your people.

The word “inhabit” means to indwell, settling, keep house, tarry, continue, sit down or judge. When we praise the Lord, He shows up because praise is the welcome mat to Him. He will begin to judge between us and our enemies. That’s what He did for Israel at the cliff of Ziz. Let me make this plain and simple; when you begin to praise the Lord, He shows up. The Lord spoke this to me:“If you will praise Me continually,  whether you feel like it or not, you will feel Me.”

God is always with us, but when we praise Him, He will give evidence of His nearness. We are His children. We have a right to His presence, it’s not a privilege , it’s a birthright. We don’t have to “feel” God in order to believe, we “feel” Him because we do believe. The battle is won on the wings of praise. When Israel began to praise the Lord, the annihilation of their enemies began. Praise is more than singing songs to the Lord, it’s our weapon against those who do not honor our Lord.

OFFERING DECLARATIONJust like the women who helped Jesus, I too can be like them.
God will receive my offerings and use them to build His church.
What He did for them, He will do more for me.
I don’t give donations, rather I sow seed and I will reap a harvest, so help me God.
