know your enemy

The devil is cunning and crafty but he is not smart, although he would lead us to believe he is.  The devil talks a good game but he cannot do anything he says he can, remember he is a liar and the father of all lies.  If you want to know the truth, just believe the opposite of what he tells you.  The devil is not capable of receiving revelation knowledge, he is spiritually dead so he cannot hear God’s voice.

1 Corinthians 2:8 None of the princes of the world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory.

From the day Adam sinned God initiated the plan of redemption, the prophets wrote about it but very few could comprehend it.  It was a mystery to every living being that was spiritually dead, man and the devils.

The Bible is a mystery until we find the key that opens it.  Then it becomes a message.

The only revelation the devil has is what the believer repeats when God speaks to them.  The devil is an eavesdropper, he listens to us repeat what the Spirit says and then begins to twist it in our mind and challenge its validity.  Once you get to know your enemy and his mode of operation you can shut him out of your life.  Not everything the Lord speaks to us should be repeated, don’t let the devil know what you and the Lord have planned.  The devil is a loser, let’s keep him that way.
