After I began to grow and do the ministry the Lord gave me, He showed me something. Seven other pastors had my vision before I did, I was not God’s first choice. I knew some of these pastors, I sat under some of them. I know what they did to get disqualified from the vision. Now I know if I don’t do what the Master instructs me He will find someone who will.
Many times the pressure of the calling became very intense, I just wanted to retire. When I prayed the Lord would say, “I haven’t told you you’re released”. When I hear the Lord say this I know He will give me grace to endure the hardships of ministry. No matter how well you equip and prepare people for the wiles of the devil, some just don’t get it. They end up wrestling with flesh and blood because they won’t consider God. The devil has “a way” but God will have “His way”.
The Lord has brought me a long way, He took me from Catholic to saint. It has not always been easy, but it has been worth it all. The Lord told me to count the cost, I had to add all this up while on the job. When I get people saved, baptized with the Holy Ghost and healed, I just forget about all the opposition. God will have His way: that gives me a peace and confidence. If God be for me, who can be against me!
