God Knows

When Jesus taught the parable of the sower, He called it the parable of parables.  We have been translated into the Kingdom of God, a supernatural place where we can sow seed.  From the very beginning God gave man seed and a place to sow it.  The Kingdom of God is our Garden of Eden.  God did not impose any limits on any of His children; the world had taught us to limit ourselves.

II Corinthians 9:6-7 He that sows sparingly will reap sparingly; and he that sows bountifully will reap bountifully.  Every man should purpose in his heart what he will sow.

How do we determine to sow sparingly and to sow bountifully?  When we make the decision to sow we will almost always sow sparingly, but when we purpose in our heart what to give, we invite Jesus to help us make our decision.  The Lord always sows bountifully and He always reaps bountifully.  Any time we reap a harvest it’s a good day, but when we reap an exceptional harvest, it’s a good year.  A seed is not always money or a material object; it can be an act of love or a sacrifice.  The law of Genesis:

Every seed produces after its own kind.

Based on the law of Genesis and the Word of God, we will reap what we sow.  God knows what we need and He knows the seed we need to sow.  When we determine to purpose in our heart what to give, He will tell us and then it’s up to us whether to obey or not.  God knows everything but how often do we consult with Him?

Isaiah 55:8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, saith the Lord.

Preachers misuse this Scripture to put a separation between God and His people.  They end up saying things like “God moves in mysterious ways.”  If God did move in mysterious ways, how would we know if it was God moving?  If we go back and read this chapter of Scripture from the beginning, we will learn that God was speaking to the wicked and the unrighteous.  Are we the wicked and unrighteous?  No.  God wants us to hear His thoughts, He wants us to have the mind of Christ.  How could God hold us accountable if He  didn’t communicate His will to us?

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts I have for you says the Lord.  They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

How could Israel put their faith in God if they didn’t know God’s thoughts?  God always has us on His mind, what else would He be thinking of?  God’s will is His Word, His Word are His thoughts.  When we know to do God’s will, He has passed His thoughts on to us.  God is a Spirit, His thoughts enter our spirit and our spirit passes them on to our mind.  When I consider Him, when I begin to think of the Lord, that’s when I hear Him.  When I begin to praise Him and thank Him that always provokes His thoughts.  God knows and He wants us to know, when we hear His thoughts we have intimacy with Him.  God knows.
