God Help Me

We know that the Lord has sent His Spirit to guide us into all truth. But how involved is God in your life? How much time does He take to lead and guide you? He has a lot of people to deal with, perhaps He can’t give you the time you need! Some folks I know seem to interact with the Lord all day long. Do some folks get more time with the Lord than others? Yes! So, why do some folks  get more time with the Lord than  others?

Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will  direct your paths.

Acknowledge Him. Recognize Jesus as your Lord and invite Him to be a part of every aspect of your life. The Lord will not insert himself into your life. He waits on the outside for an invitation. If God is not active in your life, that’s your fault not His! Some folks have this mindset that they won’t “bother” God unless their situation is dire. Go back to our text: In ALL your ways. There is nothing too great or too small for the Lord. If it’s important to you, it’s important to Him.

Psalm 121:3 He will not allow your foot to be moved: He  that keeps you will  not slumber. VS. 4 He that watches over you shall neither slumber nor sleep.

God is on the job twenty-four-seven. Even while we sleep at night He is working on our behalf. If you believe this, you will not worry or fret over the challenges in your life. If you invited the Lord to be apart of your life then you must withdraw and let Him do what only He can do. The Lord is not going to pry your hands off your problem. You must let go and let God. If you think God is too slow or not handling it the way you think He should, He will give it back to you and let you deal with it.

Psalm 9:10  They that know Your Name will put their trust in You; for You Lord have not forsaken them that seek You.

Many Christians know God as God, but they really don’t know Him personally. If you have not taken the time to know your Lord you will not trust Him. How does one get to know the Lord more intimately? The Lord is known by His Word, His Word is His will. The Holy Spirit wrote the Bible, it is a revelation of God and His Word. God reveals Himself to you when you study Him in your Bible. The biggest problem in the body of Christ is that many believers don’t trust the Lord. They don’t trust Him because they don’t know Him. How can you trust someone you don’t know?
Some Christians believe that God will do whatever He wants whenever He wants, so they don’t bother praying the Scriptures. They accept everything as the will of God. I was one of those ignorant people, but I began to read my Bible and I met Jesus. There is no reason anyone should be estranged from the Lord, He is available to everyone. God will help anyone who will ask Him. We must initiate the contact. God is waiting on us to invite Him into our lives. Let’s not keep the Lord waiting.

Just like the women who helped Jesus, I too can be like them.

God will receive my offerings and use them to build His church.

What He did for them, He will do more for me.

I don’t give donations, rather I sow seed and I will reap a harvest, so help me God.
