fAVOR

Most Christians have no concept of the favor of God, it does not sound like something God would be involved with.  Jerry Savelle is the only one I know of that has revelation on the subject of divine favor.  His revelations are based on Scripture so they are indisputable.
 
Psalm 5:12 For You Lord, will bless the righteous, with favor will You crown him as with a shield.
 
A shield in that day was as tall as a man and it covered the entire man and that’s how God’s favor covers a man.  Now the key to attracting God’s favor is to abide in the righteousness that comes from Him.  Being called the righteousness and living righteous are two separate programs.  If one claims to now God but in works denies Him, this one will not know the favor of God.  Why does a born-again righteous saint of God continue to live like the heathen?  They are influenced by their old habits and will continue until they renew their mind.  Some believers conform to God and His will quickly while others do not make it a priority.
 
Luke 2:52 Jesus increased in wisdom and age, and in favor with God and man.
 
Jesus did not find favor because He was the Son of God, but because He was a righteous man who walked in His righteousness.  When you abide in the favor of God you can show favor to others and God will increase your supply of favor.  The more you understand about the favor of God the more you will come to expect it.  The more favor you give to others the more favor men will show you.  The more I study and hear about favor the more I look for it and expect it.  When God shows you favor and man shows you favor you are fully covered in the city and in the field.
 
Psalm 44:3 Israel did not get their land by the sword nor by their arm, but it was because God showed favor unto them.
 
The older generation of Jews that came out of Egypt were not shown the favor of God because they murmured against God.  Their children crossed the Jordan river and took their land from all the squatters.  By the favor of God the people not only got their land but they received houses they didn’t build.  God just needed someone who loved Him enough to obey Him, then He could demonstrate His favor.
 
Proverbs 3:1,4 Do not forget My laws but keep My commandments. So you will find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
 
Favor is reserved in abundance for those who are committed to serving their Lord and Savior.  The word favor is a foreign word to many Christians because most of them don’t believe God can be that good.  The way some Christians conduct themselves you would not be able to tell they were ever born-again.  I had a neighbor who moved to Butte and I got word he had cancer.  I loved this man so I drove to Butte to lead him to the Lord.  When it came time he said this to me: “Jerry, I always believed, I just didn’t act like I believed”.  If you’re dedicated to Jesus you will know His favor, just don’t neglect to thank Him when you see Him put it on you.  I live for Jesus and I see His favor every day, praise the Lord.
