before our time began

Our Bible tells us that God is the Father of spirits, so every human begins as a spirit.  So when are spirits created by our Father?

John 1:3 All things were made by Him (Jesus), and without Him was not anything that was made.

The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit created everything in the beginning.  I believe all the spirits that would give life to flesh have all been created.  Furthermore, I believe all these spirits are in heaven with the Father waiting to become a human being in the wombs of the mothers.  Men are not capable of creating spirits, we are not the fathers of spirits.  Men are capable of creating other men but it is God who makes the heart of an unborn baby to beat.  Every spirit God creates has the freedom to choose its destiny.

Psalm 82:6 I have said, you are gods; and all of you are children of the most high.

A god is a being that has been given the option of choosing its destiny.  We all begin as children of the most high but we can choose the god of this world to be our father.  Happy, blessed and well-off is the person who knows the Father from the days of their youth.  We are not all children of God, we must choose to become His child.  A lot of people have a calling on their life before they are born, Jeremiah was one of them.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you and I ordained you a prophet unto the nations.

God had a plan for Jeremiah before he was ever born, he was predestined to be a prophet.  Jeremiah could have chosen another way, but he remained with the Lord’s vision for his life.  Everyone is created to walk with Jesus but a lot of them choose the alternative.  I believe I was predestined to do what I’m doing today, however, I chose the opposite way in the early years of my life.  As I look back I see I had so many opportunities to fail, but the Lord was protecting me.  I did suffer a few things that I brought upon myself, but it certainly could have been a whole lot worse.

Galatians 1:15 It pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me by His grace.

Paul was born into this world by the will of God, the Lord called Paul a chosen vessel.  Paul was a Jew and he was a top ranking Pharisee.  He loved God and the law, but he hated Jesus and Christians, he was not doing what he was born or predestined to do.  One day he had an encounter with Jesus and Jesus gave him His grace, Paul went on to be an apostle and write two thirds of the New Testament.  A lot of God’s people begin their lives “off course” but God works behind the scenes to get them on track.  You will never be satisfied until you begin to do what you’re born to do.  No man was ever born to serve the devil, so no man will ever be content doing the work of the evil one.  You were born for good things.

OFFERING DECLARATIONJust like the women who helped Jesus, I too can be like them.
God will receive my offerings and use them to build His church.
What He did for them, He will do more for me.
I don’t give donations, rather I sow seed and I will reap a harvest, so help me God.
