a different place

As you well know, the world is full of people and we all look like ordinary people.  But there is a remnant of these people who are not hard core citizens, they are strangers and pilgrims on the earth.  They live in this world but they are not a part of its system.  So, what is wrong with this world?  Satan is the god of this present world and he has a stronghold over all the leaders of the various factions.  Jesus is the Lord and God of this remnant and He has provided a different place for His subjects.  How does God do this?
 
Colossians 1:13 God delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son.
 
What we have here is a kingdom within a kingdom and they are separated by light and darkness.  Israel was in bondage to Egypt but they lived in the land of Goshen, life was better in Goshen.  The citizens of the world cannot enter the kingdom of God, but the folks in God’s kingdom can enter the world.  In fact, the devil spends much of his time enticing the folks in God’s kingdom to come back to his world where he will cater to their flesh. 
 
Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
 
The kingdom of man is materialism and it caters to the flesh, the five physical senses.  The kingdom of God is where the Holy Ghost operates.  It’s where God meets man and where God blesses man.  When you’re in God’s kingdom you are above the evil that is in the world.  The devil cannot enter this world of the Spirit.  When you’re in the kingdom of God you will become more aware of God’s presence than the devil’s!  No man can navigate his way in the kingdom without the help of the Holy Spirit.
 
Ephesians 2:12 In the world you were without Christ, being aliens from the common wealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world.
 
Everyone in the kingdom of darkness has no covenant with God, therefore they have no hope of a life apart from the flesh.  The world operates on the “luck” system, nothing is for certain in their world, they must deal with what ever comes by any means they can garner.  But the world has provided aids to help it’s citizens, psychiatrists, psychologist, Prozac, witches and the horoscope.  God offers His citizens promises and the Holy Ghost to comfort us and fulfill the promises.  Based on these truths there should be a stark difference between the folks in the world and folks in the kingdom.
 
Mathew 5:16 Let your light shine before all men, that they may see your blessings, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.
 
God wants all the citizens of the world to know there is a different, better place to live.  We represent the kingdom of God, we are to demonstrate God’s goodness and perhaps give the world a desire for a better place.  The kingdom of God is not a final destination, one day we will move up to the kingdom of Heaven, our final destination.
