Far too many churches and ministries do not place an importance on the Holy Ghost. They talk about and mention Him, but they don’t know anything about His ministry. God loves all people, He loves His people with the same fervor that the devil hates people. We have God wanting to bless us and the devil trying to kill us. So how do we navigate through the world? How do we know where safe is?
Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the children of God.
Did you know that being led of the Spirit is an option? A lot of people have opted out of God’s invitation, they choose to be led of the flesh (feelings). The problem is the devil manipulates feelings all the time. The devil is so good at what he does. He has Christians convinced that God is their problem! There is a Scripture in the Bible that is largely ignored. We are not to wrestle with flesh and blood, people who are not led of the Spirit. Why won’t Christians permit the Spirit to lead them?
Psalms 9:10 They that know Your Name will put their trust in You.
Christians in general do not trust God because they don’t know Him. They don’t know the testimony of His name. They haven’t taken the time to know Him. They haven’t listened to the people who do know Him. God is a stranger to them. How can you trust a stranger? It is the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus to us. If you see Jesus you will see the Father. Meeting Jesus has been the most fun, most rewarding endeavor of my life. Every time the Holy Spirit revealed something to me, I wanted more, I still do.
Mathew 11:25 I thank you Father because you have hid these things from the wise and intelligent, and have revealed them unto babes.
There are folks that are so smart and conceited and deceived. God can teach simple minded, humble ones anything. The joy of my salvation is rekindled every time I hear the Spirit give me a fresh revelation. I have a friend that is a native of Tanzania, he comes and preaches in my church once a year. Whenever he comes, he always shares the revelations God gave him and they’re also always the same as mine. I heard several prophets say this:
Being led of the Spirit in these last days will be a matter of life and death.
These are the devil’s last days. Thank God, He is out to raise as much hell as we will let him. The devil cannot set snares for those who are led of the Spirit. He never knows what we will do or where we will do it. A fowler bases his success on studying the routine of his prey. The only way to live in God’s perfect will and finish your course is to be led by the Spirit. I wonder how many Christians live and die but never spend a day in God’s will for their lives.
Jesus Redeemed me from the curse, no poverty, no lack in my house.
Wealth and riches in my home, the devil is rebuked for my sake.
Father daily loads me with benefits, He takes pleasure in my increase.
I love being redeemed,
and I give my Lord all the glory.
We are about to embark on the greatest adventure and outpouring of God’s Spirit! This month the Holy Spirit is asking us to examine ourselves/take inventory so as God’s Vessels we can take our part and place in the Body of Christ!
Scriptures to meditate on:
Hebrews 12:1 Therefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
Psalm 26:4 Lord you can scrutinize me. Refine my heart and probe my every thought. Put me to the test and you will find it is true.
2 Cor 10:6 It is written, and having a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
1 Peter 4:17 For judgement begins at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
Psalm 139: 23, 24 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me of unbelief and lead me in the way everlasting.
2 Timothy 2:4 No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of (civilian) life: his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him (God)! DO ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!
