Jesus prayed for all the people who believed on Him according to the teachings of His disciples. You must accept the fact that Jesus got all of His prayers answered. Why? Because He always prayed the Father’s will.
John 17:15-17 I pray not that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Separate them through Your truth: Your Word is truth.
Let’s dissect this portion of the Lord’s prayer and find out what He prayed over us. His first request is that He not take us out of the world, the only place we could go is heaven but He needs us to remain here. Then Jesus prayed that the Father would keep us from all the evil in this world. I know a number of people who can’t wait to get to heaven and get away from the devil and all his evil intentions. Have they not heard that the Father will protect us from all the plots of the devil? When believers are in the world, who should suffer the most? The devil! Every time the devil rolls out an evil plan and the believers stop him, he wails and moans.
We are not of this world. Jesus told us to pray that the kingdom come, well it is here and we are there. We live under a completely different system than the devil and his seed. If the people in this world don’t get born-again, they will never leave this world, they will just get deeper into it. The folks who are born-again have no affiliation with the spirit of the world nor its god. The believers live by a completely different set of laws. The world lives by the law of sin and death, the believers don’t even share the same language because they don’t share the same gods. The world speaks a language called doubt and unbelief, the believer speaks a language heaven calls truth.
If the believers were citizens of the world, then the devil would call them his own, but they have been purchased by the blood of Jesus. The world does not have the power to resist the devil, they are joined together by the bond of sin. The believers are strangers and pilgrims in the earth. We owe no allegiance, we just have a visa that will one day expire. When one country sends ambassadors to another country, that ambassador has diplomatic immunity. They are exempt from certain laws and they have special privileges, believers in the world have diplomatic immunity.
Separate them through your truth. The truth is far more important than what some folks realize. The truth puts you on a different path and a different place in life. The devil cannot get on this path because there is no truth in him, he is the father of all lies. If you get on the path of truth and stay there you will not meet up with the devil, he is not qualified to walk that path. We need to be very serious about the prayer Jesus made for us. He put us in a tough spot, a place where the devil fears to tread.
Jesus received offerings
so the people could be blessed.
And Jesus was a giver,
He had Judas give to the poor. (John 13:29)
Jesus owned a house in Capernaum, He was a rich Jew.
But He became poor
so we could become rich.

PRAYING BLESSINGS OVER
PASTOR JERRY & KATHY LAMPING
& PASTOR MANDY MOODY AND HER FAMILY
Praying 3 John 1:2 “Beloved, we wish above all things that you will prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.”
Praying that God will continue to supply all their needs and answer their wants.
Praying they will see the fruit of their labor.
Pray and ask God how you may show your appreciation.
Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.
