The devil is slated for entire annihilation. He is down and he is certainly going out. One day, he will be no more forever. He knows that he has a short time so he is dedicated to imparting as much hell as he can. The devil is a history maker. He knows what worked in the past so he just resurrects his old successes. He was so adept at sowing seeds of lust in men that God has to destroy entire cities in order to end it.
John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do...
The people in Sodom and Gomorrah were practicing lusts of their father the devil. There has been a steady, growing revival of that spirit. It has overtaken the world. Entire cities are dedicated to their lustful sin and it’s not slowing at all. These people are not content to just have their pleasures with one another. They want the church to welcome them and bless them. Without the presence of the Lord they are blinded to truth and revelation. They are convinced they are normal in every aspect because it’s just a different expression of love.
Ephesians 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
The church that was founded by Christ Jesus is a at a crossroads. Do they hold fast to sound doctrine or remove the label of sin off the lusts of the flesh. Not all churches were established by Jesus. I know this one thing and I am assured of it; any church that compromises will forfeit the presence of the Holy Ghost. Let’s be honest. A lot of churches have never had the Holy Ghost, so they won’t miss out on anything.
2 Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
Let’s take this Scripture and turn it around and see what happens to folks who refuse to repent. It’s a sad report, but a lot of nominal Christians don’t care anything about God’s idea of good works. They have labeled their own good works and are willingly ignorant of God’s concept of good works. Religion’s definition of good works is to attend church once-in-awhile, put a few bucks in the offering plate and mention God’s name sometimes. You don’t need to clean your house in order to accomplish these things. God’s idea of good works is to cast out devils and lay hands on the sick for healing.
1 Corinthians 5:1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
I know a church that is named after Paul and they bless same sex unions. I wonder what he would say if he was here today. I believe someone would be turned over to satan for the destruction of their flesh. Our new battle front is one the devil has brought from the past. His old is our new.
Lord have mercy!
Jesus Redeemed me from the curse, no poverty, no lack in my house.
Wealth and riches in my home, the devil is rebuked for my sake.
Father daily loads me with benefits, He takes pleasure in my increase.
I love being redeemed,
and I give my Lord all the glory.
We are about to embark on the greatest adventure and outpouring of God’s Spirit! This month the Holy Spirit is asking us to examine ourselves/take inventory so as God’s Vessels we can take our part and place in the Body of Christ!
Scriptures to meditate on:
Hebrews 12:1 Therefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
Psalm 26:4 Lord you can scrutinize me. Refine my heart and probe my every thought. Put me to the test and you will find it is true.
2 Cor 10:6 It is written, and having a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
1 Peter 4:17 For judgement begins at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
Psalm 139: 23, 24 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me of unbelief and lead me in the way everlasting.
2 Timothy 2:4 No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of (civilian) life: his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him (God)! DO ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!
