I cannot say enough about the deception that is sweeping through the body of Christ. When the disciples asked Jesus about signs of His return, the first thing He warned of was deception. If we understand that the devil is of the flesh, we know what to regard. We should all be experts in the arena of the flesh because we’re born in that realm. Now we must develop the spiritual part of the life we were born again into.
2 Corinthians 5:17 If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.
This new creature needs to develop and mature, it needs to feed on the Word of God. This new man needs to take his place in the kingdom his Father has prepared for him. He must move out from under the influence of the devil and put him under his feet. This man must accept his promotion and live a victorious life. This man must have his identity revealed to him, he must know who he is in Christ Jesus. When knowledge comes, victory will follow close behind. A new birth is a terrible thing to waste, we are born on account of love and we have a destiny.
February 9, 2020
Father, I am a tither, I know all the tithe belongs to You.
I know now that if I will obey You, You will open the windows of heaven and You will pour out my blessing.
I will be able to sow seed and You will rebuke the seedeater.
I thank You for revealing this to me. You take pleasure in my prosperity. I take pleasure in Your presence.
January is a month of fresh starts. It brings a “Do Over” mind set. Our commitment level is high. But by February we can already begin to lose momentum. Some areas we may have purposed to challenge ourselves are waning or we are stuck in the “planning” stage.
Strengthening our bodies
(To name a few)
The good news is we don’t have to do this all by ourselves. God says where two or more are in agreement. This month we purpose to pray for one another that we will faint not.
God is the one who began this good work in you, and He will complete it.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for we will reap the harvest if we don’t give up.
