If we take an overview of the world, it is plain to see that men are moving away from God. Babies are being aborted by the millions, men are marrying men, drugs are being legalized and laws against God Himself are being passed. Several times in the Old Testament God wiped out all but a few people and started over. He can’t do this today because in every stronghold city of sin there are at least ten righteous men. No one will get away with their lawlessness forever because the wages of sin is death.
Revelation 2:26-27 He that overcomes to the end, to him will I give power over the nations. And he shall rule over them with a rod of iron.
During the millennial reign of Christ, Jesus and His saints will be the authority over all the world. There will be no such thing as compromise, nobody will get away with any transgression. The saints will rule with a rod of iron; you will submit or be broken.
Revelation 20:4 . . . and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
For over six thousand years the devil led sinful men in an array of perversion. For some men the thoughts of their heart was only evil every day. Some men have never known the way of righteousness nor the meaning of love. They kill innocent people with bombs and they cut the heads off of Christians. All the while they think they are appeasing their god allah. These men cannot be reasoned with, the only thing that can change them is a rod of iron. So, who are these taskmasters God will appoint to discipline these rebels?
Mathew 25:21 The Lord said, well done thou good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things.
If we are willing to do whatever God asks us to do in this life, He will appoint us a leadership position in the next. All of God’s chosen leaders will be given a rod of iron, which is the Word of God. Men will have no choice but to obey, they can suffer harm but the taskmaster can’t. In the beginning, God gave dominion to man but man subjected himself to demonic influence. In a sense, God leased the earth to men for six thousand years and on the seventh He takes control back. Goodness, peace and prosperity won’t be spotty, it will cover the whole world. Over the course of a thousand years, the earth will become one big garden. Maybe, perhaps all those folks who don’t have a glorified body will be employed as “gardeners”.
Revelation 20:3 The devil was cast into the bottomless pit, and he will not be able to deceive the nations any more.
Praise God! The devil will be locked away forever, out of sight and out of mind. No more temptations, no more pain, no more tears and no more wars. Everyone will have the knowledge of the Lord and His goodness. No more death and nothing to fight over, just the ongoing supernatural power of God. O Lord, come quickly. Amen.
Jesus Redeemed me from the curse, no poverty, no lack in my house.
Wealth and riches in my home, the devil is rebuked for my sake.
Father daily loads me with benefits, He takes pleasure in my increase.
I love being redeemed,
and I give my Lord all the glory.
We are about to embark on the greatest adventure and outpouring of God’s Spirit! This month the Holy Spirit is asking us to examine ourselves/take inventory so as God’s Vessels we can take our part and place in the Body of Christ!
Scriptures to meditate on:
Hebrews 12:1 Therefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
Psalm 26:4 Lord you can scrutinize me. Refine my heart and probe my every thought. Put me to the test and you will find it is true.
2 Cor 10:6 It is written, and having a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
1 Peter 4:17 For judgement begins at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
Psalm 139: 23, 24 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me of unbelief and lead me in the way everlasting.
2 Timothy 2:4 No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of (civilian) life: his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him (God)! DO ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!
