Provision for the Vision

When I started the church we rented a room in a local hotel and we had favor with them for a season. We needed a place of our own. We found an old multi-purpose building, I borrowed seventy-five thousand dollars and we moved in. When I  made the first payment nearly four hundred dollars went to the interest and a hundred to the principle. This really bothered me this money should be going into the Kingdom of God. Then I got a set of tapes in the mail from a dear saint in Kalispell, Montana.
The title of the tape series was War on Debt. The speakers were Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Jerry Savelle and John Avanzini. Those teachings set me free. I began to tithe and then I taught the Church about tithing. Our offerings began to multiply in one year we paid all our debt and became debt free. Money continued to flow in, we bought six acres of land and paid cash. We were to close on the land on Monday, but we were four thousand dollars short. That Sunday morning, the four thousand came in.
God gave me our vision; Restore the supernatural power of God back to the local church. Every God given vision requires provision, money continued to come in. We had sixty five thousand dollars in the bank when we began construction of our new church. A contractor cleared the lot and never charged us. Concrete finishers laid out ten thousand square feet of cement, all they charged us was a bag of Big Macs from McDonalds. Two contractors were out of work and they began to frame the building. A plumber did all the plumbing for the cost of material. We had great favor and I never once asked anyone for anything. A local contractor sent over a large crane to set our tresses, he never charged us anything. Two of the best dry wall guys did all our taping and texturing and never charged a penny.
Fourteen months after we started construction we moved into our debt free building. We still had over forty thousand in the bank. Jerry Savelle flew up and dedicated our building and has been here many times. As we grew we begin to have quite a number of teens in our church, but I didn’t know how to minister to them. I flew to Tulsa and sat under Willie George, as I did I got a vision for youth. With sixty-five thousand dollars in the bank we broke ground for a ten thousand square foot youth center. This building project was the hardest ever. I really stirred up hell. The devil did not want this youth ministry to succeed.
The devil began to methodically pick off key members of the congregation. People were getting offended at the most ridiculous things. The devil led many good people away. It took seven years but we got the building done and the program up and running. We have led hundreds of teens to the Lord. My vision for the youth is: “Become Lifers for Christ.”   Jesse Duplantis came and dedicated our youth building and then gave us fifty thousand dollars. God is blessing us with favor and His Glory, wait till you see what He does next!

    PRAYER FOCUS
    TAKING INVENTORY

We are about to embark on the greatest adventure and outpouring of God’s Spirit! This month the Holy Spirit is asking us to examine ourselves/take           inventory so as God’s Vessels we can take our part and place in the Body of Christ!

    Scriptures to meditate on:

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

Psalm 26:4 Lord you can scrutinize me. Refine my heart and probe my every thought. Put me to the test and you will find it is true.

2 Cor 10:6 It is written, and having a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

1 Peter 4:17 For judgement begins at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Psalm 139: 23, 24 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me of unbelief and lead me in the way everlasting.

2 Timothy 2:4 No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of (civilian) life: his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him (God)! DO ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!
