Once Saved Always Saved

The doctrine of once saved always saved has been floating around long before I became a born-again Christian. It fits perfectly into the doctrine of “greasy grace”. Once you’re saved your conduct is irrelevant. The folks who hold to such doctrine never seem to mention anything about holiness. It seems like to me that the folks who preach once saved always saved are doing something they shouldn’t or have relatives who are.
I don’t believe in once saved always saved.
I don’t believe you will lose your salvation on account of sin. I’m going to list some of the Scriptures that contradict the doctrine of once saved always saved.

Matthew 7:22-23  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Mark 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

Colossians 1:21-23  And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.

Hebrews 2:1,3 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. 3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him.

Hebrews 6:4, 6  For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Hebrews 10:38-39  Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Hebrews 12:14-15  Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.

1 Peter 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

Revelations 3:5 He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out His name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His Angels.

Anyone who wants to believe in man’s doctrine of once saved always saved will need to deal with all these Scriptures and more besides. I’m like Kenneth Copeland, a man once asked him about once saved always saved and he said this: “I don’t think about it, I don’t want out.”
