The Holy Spirit does not act apart from the Word of the Father, if there be no Word He has nothing to work with. As the healing revival after WWII began to wane, Kenneth Hagan received a Word from the Lord:
The healing revival as you know it will come to an end. But people will still be healed as they hear the Word of Faith.
It can be difficult to get a person healed by faith because they have a part to play in the matter. I am totally convinced that the Word of Faith movement will usher in the last days healing revival. A Messianic Jew by the name of Dick Reuben predicted the Brownsville outpouring that took place several years ago. The Lord told him that the next great move of the Spirit will be in the Word of Faith camp.
Brother Wigglesworth said this last days revival would be a wave of the gifts of the Spirit. The nine gifts of the Spirit come by faith, we believe for them, we do not earn them through good works. Most denominations do not understand the ministry of the Holy Spirit, they know nothing of His nine gifts. Most of them oppose the gifts, declaring that tongues are of the devil or all the gifts passed away with the last apostle. All of these ignorant statements are excuses for not having faith in God’s Word.
1 Corinthians 12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
If a man is ignorant concerning the gifts of the Spirit it’s because he chooses not to believe God’s Word. If God showed up and did some miraculous thing they wouldn’t even know who did it. The Catholics still believe that Mary the mother of Jesus stopped the Russian’s from dropping nuclear bombs on the United States. They believe Mary gave them the “rosary” to pray in order to stop Russia. To this day they are making “saints” out of people who supposedly worked miracles hundreds of years ago. I believe the Lord is “shaking” the Catholic church in order to gain a place among them. Kenneth Copeland once said “If you ever got a Catholic saved and filled with the Holy Spirit, he will be a staunch warrior for Christ.”
John 11:47-48 The chief priests and the Pharisees said: what shall we do? For the man Jesus does many miracles. If we let Him be all the people will believe on Him and the Romans will take away our positions.
Religion will lose its place if Jesus is permitted to be presented to the people. A church should be a place where true believers gather to honor and worship the Lord. In general, church has become a place where men are honored for perverting the Gospel. When men are in charge they will make no place for the Spirit of God, He is a drain on their agenda. A lot of folks enjoy having their flesh catered to where there is little demand on their time. We must make room for the Spirit, He will not force His way into our services.
Jesus Redeemed me from the curse, no poverty, no lack in my house.
Wealth and riches in my home, the devil is rebuked for my sake.
Father daily loads me with benefits, He takes pleasure in my increase.
I love being redeemed,
and I give my Lord all the glory.
We are about to embark on the greatest adventure and outpouring of God’s Spirit! This month the Holy Spirit is asking us to examine ourselves/take inventory so as God’s Vessels we can take our part and place in the Body of Christ!
Scriptures to meditate on:
Hebrews 12:1 Therefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
Psalm 26:4 Lord you can scrutinize me. Refine my heart and probe my every thought. Put me to the test and you will find it is true.
2 Cor 10:6 It is written, and having a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
1 Peter 4:17 For judgement begins at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
Psalm 139: 23, 24 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me of unbelief and lead me in the way everlasting.
2 Timothy 2:4 No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of (civilian) life: his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him (God)! DO ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!
