The Bible tells us that we must live in faith and this is not an option.  So, how do we do what God has commanded us to do?  The first thing we need is faith, faith is not a natural deposit, it must be acquired.

Romans 10:17 So, then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

We must commit to hearing God’s Word.  Now, the time factor cannot be predetermined.  How hungry are you?  How eager are you to renew your mind?  As faith comes to you, your mind goes through a transformation and you begin to think in line with God’s will.  Faith is simply coming to the place where you believe God more than circumstances you see every day.  You believe what God says over what your senses are telling you.  You’re not alone in this program.  The Holy Spirit is the teacher of the church, He will help you to comprehend what the Word is saying.  If you approach this faith project correctly, it will be fun.  It is very refreshing to learn about your new life in Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:13 We, having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed and therefore have I spoken, we also believe, and therefore speak.

Once faith has been deposited into your spirit, you can begin to release it with your words.  Your faith will assure you that God will confirm your words with signs and wonders.  It is a supernatural way to live that God has ordained for all of His people to live by.  We can frame our world by the Word of God, just as He did and we can put the devil in his place.

We cannot use our thoughts to address the devil, we must use our words.  The devil was defeated by Jesus, therefore he is subject to His Name.  By faith we use the Name of Jesus to control the antics of the devil.  By faith we can change our circumstances that the devil has rearranged to do us hardship.  Jesus was crossing a small  lake one night and the devil whipped up a major storm to hinder Him.  Jesus told the storm to be still and it became calm.  We must speak aloud to the devil, circumstances and our own bodies; power is in our words.

Mark 11:23 Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be  removed and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he says.

We are to speak to the obstacles in our lives without doubt in our hearts.  If you can’t believe what you say, you’re not ready to release your faith.  Go back to the Word that covers your situation and begin to hear the Word until the faith you need comes.  Don’t give up just go back and equip yourself with what you need.  Don’t be moved by what you see, it may take a little time for the mountain to relocate to the sea.  I believe Jesus is giving us types in order to explain how we are to use our faith.  Don’t speak until you’re ready, you don’t want doubt hindering your faith project.  Living by faith is not an occasional event, it is an every day experience we use to gain victory for our lives.  God loves all those who believe what they haven’t seen.
