When I drive by a church I always wonder what goes on in those walls, I often wish I had time to find out.
Acts 20:28 Take heed unto yourselves, and to all the flock over which the Holy Ghost has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He has purchased with His own Blood.
If a church is ordained of God, then the leadership will receive revelation from heaven that is to be offered to the people. Preachers have no business teaching people what they “think”, we have an obligation to the blood of Jesus to preach “thus said the Lord”! Woe to the man who teaches God’s people anything other than the truth. If a preacher does not fully appreciate God’s people, then he needs to meditate the last words of this text.
He purchased the people with His own blood.
The value of anything is determined by what someone is willing to pay for it. That was the Father’s blood that was coursing through the veins of Jesus. He shed His very own blood in order to purchase the freedom of all mankind. We cannot put a monetary value on the life of a human being, because we cannot put a value on the blood of Jesus. The Lord takes a very narrow view of those who abuse and mislead His children.
Acts 1:20 As it is written, let his house be desolate, and let no man live there in: and his office let another take it.
This Scripture was leveled at Judas and anyone else who would betray Jesus, Who is the Word of God. If a man openly defies the Lord and feeds lies to His people, he will not persist for long. I was not God’s first choice for the vision He gave me. If I won’t flow with the vision, He will take it away and give it to another. I have never taken ministry lightly, life and death is in the balance. The Lord said it would be better for a man to tie a rock to his neck and throw it in the sea than to offend one of His children.
Jude 1:4 Some ungodly people have wormed their way in your churches, saying that God’s marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have come to deny our Lord Jesus Christ.
These ungodly people are still among us preaching the doctrine of devils, it’s called greasy grace. In the old days, if you didn’t like the message, you shot the messenger. Now that we have become more civilized, when we don’t like a message we just change it. I do not see the Lord letting this go on much longer, surely by now these people have had enough time to repent. Men will not be able to live and thrive in the glorious church, perhaps we will see more Ananias and Sapphira incidents. The church needs to be a place where people come to be fed the uncompromised Word of God to know the truth.
February 9, 2020
Father, I am a tither, I know all the tithe belongs to You.
I know now that if I will obey You, You will open the windows of heaven and You will pour out my blessing.
I will be able to sow seed and You will rebuke the seedeater.
I thank You for revealing this to me. You take pleasure in my prosperity. I take pleasure in Your presence.
January is a month of fresh starts. It brings a “Do Over” mind set. Our commitment level is high. But by February we can already begin to lose momentum. Some areas we may have purposed to challenge ourselves are waning or we are stuck in the “planning” stage.
Strengthening our bodies
(To name a few)
The good news is we don’t have to do this all by ourselves. God says where two or more are in agreement. This month we purpose to pray for one another that we will faint not.
God is the one who began this good work in you, and He will complete it.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for we will reap the harvest if we don’t give up.
