Every born again believer has the right to hear God’s voice, He is the one who gave us the right. God wants to communicate with us, we can’t succeed without His Word. It makes no difference who believes and who doesn’t, God will speak to whosoever has ears to hear.
John 16:13 When the Spirit of truth is come He will guide (lead) you into all truth, for whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak.
The Holy Spirit has a voice and He can speak, however not all men understand His language. Committed Christians speak and understand the language of God, it is a foreign language to the unbeliever. God has spoken to me thousands of times and yet I have never heard His actual voice! God is a Spirit and I am one-third spirit, we are two spirits that share the same language. God’s language in encapsulated in His thoughts and as a born again believer I can hear His thoughts. If you have never heard Him, please don’t discredit those who have, if you will believe your day will come.
1 Corinthians 14:11 If I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaks a barbarian, and he that speaks shall be a barbarian unto me.
God is a barbarian to those who don’t yet believe because they do not understand what He is saying. All the time people spend discrediting God and His people, He is speaking love to them. A hard heart is a stubborn heart, it has become selective in who it will honor and who it will not.
One word from God can change your life forever.
A man’s life will continue on the “broad way” that leads to destruction until the day comes when he will hear from the Lord. I was a sinner and destined to hell, but the Word of life came to me. In less than a minute hell was cancelled for good and God put heaven in my future. I can’t prove any-thing on paper but I know that I know Jesus has saved me forever.
Jeremiah 18:2 Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.
God will use natural things in our life to hear and understand spiritual things. God told Jeremiah that if the nation of Israel would permit Him, He would change their rebellious heart. God is a God of few words but you could write a book on just one of His thoughts. One word from God made me a minister and put me in the ministry. One word from God and I have a vision I will work on the rest of my life. When God was afar off He appeared to shout but now that He is near He speaks soft and gentle.
I do not know how a preacher can preach without hearing the voice of God! On the other hand, religion does not rely on God for anything, it has its own voice. Religion is of the world, do not agree with one another. Thank God. He has a voice.
Jesus Redeemed me from the curse, no poverty, no lack in my house.
Wealth and riches in my home, the devil is rebuked for my sake.
Father daily loads me with benefits, He takes pleasure in my increase.
I love being redeemed,
and I give my Lord all the glory.
We are about to embark on the greatest adventure and outpouring of God’s Spirit! This month the Holy Spirit is asking us to examine ourselves/take inventory so as God’s Vessels we can take our part and place in the Body of Christ!
Scriptures to meditate on:
Hebrews 12:1 Therefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
Psalm 26:4 Lord you can scrutinize me. Refine my heart and probe my every thought. Put me to the test and you will find it is true.
2 Cor 10:6 It is written, and having a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
1 Peter 4:17 For judgement begins at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
Psalm 139: 23, 24 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me of unbelief and lead me in the way everlasting.
2 Timothy 2:4 No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of (civilian) life: his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him (God)! DO ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!
