The world and some church folk do not agree with God nor His Word. In times past, if you didn’t like the message you killed the messenger. But now a days people are more civilized, they just change the message. Some do it out of spite while others do it out of ignorance.
Jude 1:8 The Apostles warned us that mockers would come in the last days who walk after their own godly lusts.
The mockers that Jude wrote about are false teachers, they present the message of grace as an excuse to embrace all the lusts of the flesh. They offer the doctrine of love as a valid reason for same-sex marriage. Some of the churches in general have become so docile, they will not confront the sin that is killing the Christian. God will not stand on the side lines forever, He will not be mocked. He will not allow men to misrepresent Him for very long.
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived, God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.
Pay day is coming and because the Lord is a God of justice everyone will reap what they have sown. Some will rejoice when their harvest comes and others will rue the day, because God will not be mocked. Some men think they are safe and in God’s good graces because they have gotten away with their deceit for so long. God allows men to continue on with their error for a season. He uses the time to offer men repentance. No man can ignore God and His Word forever, a day of reckoning will always come, pray that it is in this life and not the next.
Psalm 105:15 Touch not mine anointed and do My prophets no harm.
When God has a plan, a vision, He will call and anoint men to fulfill His event. When men take it upon themselves to circumvent God’s plan, He will not be mocked for long. God will not stand by and let the devil's seed thwart the assignment He commissioned His anointed to fulfill. The Apostle Paul was sent by the Holy Spirit to Patmos to preach the Gospel, but they were confronted by the sorcerer who stood between Paul and the men who wanted to hear the Word of God.
Acts 13:11 Then Paul spoke to the sorcerer: the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind for a season, and immediately he became blind and looked for someone to lead him.
The ministry of this sorcerer was to stop Paul from him obeying the Lord, he didn’t last one day. No man has the ability to stop God from impacting the world, but this does not stop them from trying. We don’t know what happened to the sorcerer after he was struck blind, if he had any sense at all he would realize he was messing with something more powerful than himself. I believe the mockers who we have had to deal with are about to know the earthly judgement of God. God’s judgement in the earth is that every man will reap whatever he has sown. This is not a good time to be a mocker, it has never been a good time.
Jesus received offerings
so the people could be blessed.
And Jesus was a giver,
He had Judas give to the poor. (John 13:29)
Jesus owned a house in Capernaum, He was a rich Jew.
But He became poor
so we could become rich.
PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH
This celebration was established in 1992 with a mission of uplifting and encouraging pastors, missionaries and religious workers.
“And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.” Jeremiah 3:15
PRAYING BLESSINGS OVER
PASTOR JERRY & KATHY LAMPING
& PASTOR MANDY MOODY AND HER FAMILY
Praying 3 John 1:2 “Beloved, we wish above all things that you will prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.”
Praying that God will continue to supply all their needs and answer their wants.
Praying they will see the fruit of their labor.
Pray and ask God how you may show your appreciation.
Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.
