Freedom must never be taken lightly, a lot of folks died setting others free. The only way we could get free is by the shed blood of Jesus. Jesus was willing to die in order to set us free and He counted it a joy.
Jude 1:4 Some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God’s grace allows us to live immoral lives.
God’s grace set us free and then some people have turned it around and altered His gift. They teach we can live like the devil and remain blessed and saved. Remember that anything not done in faith is sin. So can one say: “I am going to kill this person because I don’t believe it’s a sin”! God will not be mocked, no one will get away with genetically altering God’s Word.
Galatians 5:13 Brethren you have been called into liberty; only use not your freedom for an occasion to the flesh.
God did not shed His grace to make us free so we could continue in the habits of our old nature. He intends for us to become new creatures in Him, not justified sinners. Jesus went to hell and back to make us free, if we went to hell we would never come back. So live for the freedom He died to give us and protect it at all costs, you have the grace to do so.
February 9, 2020
Father, I am a tither, I know all the tithe belongs to You.
I know now that if I will obey You, You will open the windows of heaven and You will pour out my blessing.
I will be able to sow seed and You will rebuke the seedeater.
I thank You for revealing this to me. You take pleasure in my prosperity. I take pleasure in Your presence.
January is a month of fresh starts. It brings a “Do Over” mind set. Our commitment level is high. But by February we can already begin to lose momentum. Some areas we may have purposed to challenge ourselves are waning or we are stuck in the “planning” stage.
Strengthening our bodies
(To name a few)
The good news is we don’t have to do this all by ourselves. God says where two or more are in agreement. This month we purpose to pray for one another that we will faint not.
God is the one who began this good work in you, and He will complete it.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for we will reap the harvest if we don’t give up.
