When you are hated, the hate will challenge you. People want to provoke a reaction, they want you to hate back. They want a war no one can win, they just want their belief to be heard loud and clear. They are not interested in having an adult conversation because that is the rational thing to do. An adult conversation is based on mutual respect and they don’t have that.
Mathew 5:44 I say to you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you.
When people hate you and you don’t respond in kind, you disappoint them and their agenda. Why does God tell us to love them? Because their decision to hate is not their own, they are fulfilling the lusts of their father the devil. When a man starts out to begin a war and he can’t find anyone to fight with him, he gains nothing. One day two men got together and began to tell lies about me so I began to pray for them. The Lord told me to give them each fifty dollars, they stopped gossiping and became supportive.
Father forgive them, they know not what they are doing.
The men who crucified Jesus were responding to what the leaders wanted. They were obeying the devil, they did not know what they were doing, but Jesus did.
Jesus Redeemed me from the curse, no poverty, no lack in my house.
Wealth and riches in my home, the devil is rebuked for my sake.
Father daily loads me with benefits, He takes pleasure in my increase.
I love being redeemed,
and I give my Lord all the glory.
We are about to embark on the greatest adventure and outpouring of God’s Spirit! This month the Holy Spirit is asking us to examine ourselves/take inventory so as God’s Vessels we can take our part and place in the Body of Christ!
Scriptures to meditate on:
Hebrews 12:1 Therefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
Psalm 26:4 Lord you can scrutinize me. Refine my heart and probe my every thought. Put me to the test and you will find it is true.
2 Cor 10:6 It is written, and having a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
1 Peter 4:17 For judgement begins at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
Psalm 139: 23, 24 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me of unbelief and lead me in the way everlasting.
2 Timothy 2:4 No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of (civilian) life: his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him (God)! DO ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!
