The devil and his seed are very patient. He always has a master plan to destroy the lives of people. Him and his seed are so arrogant, they even publicize their plan. Years ago, an outspoken homosexual, who was a member of a group called, “queer nation”, told the world what they were plotting. The old people were too set in their “heterosexual” ways to convert, so they were going after our children. They planned to infiltrate the government ran schools and begin to indoctrinate the children with the choice of an “alternate lifestyle”.
Luke 17:2 It were better for him, that a millstone were hanged about his neck and be cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
The word offend means to entice to sin. These people have no regard for God, children or decency. They are, after all, the devil’s seed. The desire to fulfill their lusts is so great, they have no fear of the soon coming judgment they have earned. The homosexual lobby group is urging congress to lower the age for children to have consensual sex. If parents protest, they are labeled as “haters” and made to feel like they’re the problem. Christians hate homosex because of what it brought to Sodom and Gomorrah. It’s very difficult to get people saved when they are in the middle of a firestorm!
People are correct to recognize homosex as a sin. But when their own children “come out”, it’s no longer an issue. Years ago, Willie George said, “If we don’t connect with our children, we will loose an entire generation.” This went off in my spirit and we began to gear our ministry to include our children. We built a large building debt-free and made it kid friendly. It’s not plain, like adult church. It has games, snacks and all the things kids are drawn to. They come for the games, but we introduce them to Jesus. My vision for our youth group is to make “lifers for Christ.”
Isaiah 54:13 All your children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace (welfare, health, prosperity, favor, safety) of your children.
As children grow, they are dependent on the relationship their parents have with God. We endeavor to put them in touch with Jesus. All children must eventually be weaned from their parents relationship with God and develop their own. We do not compromise the Word just because the children cannot handle meat. The kids began to come and play with all the games for a season. Soon, they begin to prefer the Word and subsequent ministry more than the games.
The kids had no idea God was so real and so fun to be around. Hundreds have gotten saved. A few have gone into ministry and many are still walking with God to this day. They want to be involved. They want to lay hands on one another and pray. They just need opportunities. They just needed someone who would take the time to teach them. Unchurched parents call the youth pastor and thank her for the change they see in their kids. We are caring for their children.
Jesus Redeemed me from the curse, no poverty, no lack in my house.
Wealth and riches in my home, the devil is rebuked for my sake.
Father daily loads me with benefits, He takes pleasure in my increase.
I love being redeemed,
and I give my Lord all the glory.
We are about to embark on the greatest adventure and outpouring of God’s Spirit! This month the Holy Spirit is asking us to examine ourselves/take inventory so as God’s Vessels we can take our part and place in the Body of Christ!
Scriptures to meditate on:
Hebrews 12:1 Therefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
Psalm 26:4 Lord you can scrutinize me. Refine my heart and probe my every thought. Put me to the test and you will find it is true.
2 Cor 10:6 It is written, and having a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
1 Peter 4:17 For judgement begins at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
Psalm 139: 23, 24 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me of unbelief and lead me in the way everlasting.
2 Timothy 2:4 No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of (civilian) life: his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him (God)! DO ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!
