Breaching the Kingdom

Man was created a triune being.  You are a spirit, you possess a soul (mind, will and emotions), and you live in a body.  Traditionally, all men are in tune with body and soul which make up the flesh.  God and the things of God are a mystery because the natural man has no access into this realm.

1 Corinthians 2:14 The natural man cannot receive the things of God; for they are foolishness unto him; he cannot comprehend them because they must be spiritually discerned.

Every honest Christian can use this Scripture to locate himself spiritually.  If you think a Bible doctrine is not true, you could yet be a natural man.  A lot of Christians believe that tithing is foolish, only eighteen percent of all believers give God His tithe.  If you do not believe that Jesus heals today, you’re a natural man in that area.  Jesus said that man does not live by bread alone, so He must have made a way for the natural man to breach the Kingdom.

Hebrews 4:12 The Word of God is alive and powerful, sharper than a two edged sword, dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and the joints and marrow.

The only way for a believer to make the distinction between the spirit and his soul is to accept and believe God’s uncompromised Word.  Before the Word is accepted, man does not make a distinction between the spirit and his soul.  When the devil speaks to a man, he speaks to his soul.  We call these thoughts and ideas.  When God speaks to a man, He speaks to the spirit.  My words are spirit and they must be spiritually discerned.  Once a man understands this spiritual law, he can identify the thoughts of the devil and the voice of God.

Galatians 6:8 He that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the spirit will of the spirit reap life everlasting.

He who hears thoughts in his mind/soul and acts on them is sowing to the flesh.  The devil is providing the seed and unlearned men sow on his behalf, but reap the devil’s harvest.  Those who sow to the spirit sow the Word of God that was deposited in their spirit.  The soul and the spirit are inseparable but function totally different and in separate realms.  When a man dies physically, his body is laid in the ground, but his soul and spirit go to be with his Father forever.  The soul and spirit can have a war of the “wills”.  Jesus said the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.  Which ever one you feed the most will be the stronger of the two.

John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do.

Jesus was trying to help the Jews.  They were more in tune with the devil than the law.  They thought they were agents of the law; the devil convinced them that they had to kill Jesus. When they died their soul and spirit would go to spend eternity with their father the devil.  Jesus came to save these men so it was not His will that they die and go to hell.  The devil can create strongholds in a man’s soul/mind and the only recourse he would have is the spirit.  Men have a hard time entering into the realm of the spirit but Jesus will do whatever He needs to do to help all men breach the Kingdom.

    PRAYER FOCUS
    TAKING INVENTORY

We are about to embark on the greatest adventure and outpouring of God’s Spirit! This month the Holy Spirit is asking us to examine ourselves/take           inventory so as God’s Vessels we can take our part and place in the Body of Christ!

    Scriptures to meditate on:

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

Psalm 26:4 Lord you can scrutinize me. Refine my heart and probe my every thought. Put me to the test and you will find it is true.

2 Cor 10:6 It is written, and having a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

1 Peter 4:17 For judgement begins at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Psalm 139: 23, 24 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me of unbelief and lead me in the way everlasting.

2 Timothy 2:4 No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of (civilian) life: his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him (God)! DO ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!
