In the Old Testament the leaders would call for the trumpet to be blown. This was a call to the nation of Israel to take up their weapons and prepare for battle. We live under a new covenant with the same God, but we don’t use trumpets any longer. When the Lord wants to gather His people and prepare them for warfare, He sends His Spirit to sound the alarm. All the Christians that are in active relationship with the Lord will hear the mind of the Spirit. This is not the time to gather and complain about the deterioration of our nation. It is time for believers everywhere to begin to exercise their authority over the demonic forces.
John 10:10 The thief cometh not but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come so you can have real and external life, more and better life than you ever dreamed of.
Now you see the devil is all about messing up our lives, but Jesus wants to give us a life better than we can imagine. In order to access this life that Jesus has prepared for us, we must first of all put the devil out. The devil will get away with whatever we allow him to mess up.
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against people, but against principalities, against powers. Against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
As long as we complain about the moral failure of our nation, we will continue to fight with flesh and blood. We are instructed to make intercession for all men and we have done well. But we are also instructed to cast out devils, and this we have not done well. The rulers of the darkness of this world are demonic forces. They have control over ignorant and ungodly people. These folks are in darkness, they have no insight, no idea who they are serving. The devil has tricked us into fighting against his seed!
In May of this year the president of the United States decreed that all schools must allow transgender students to use whatever bathroom they feel comfortable using. This means that if a boy thinks he’s a girl for a day, he could demand to shower with the girls. If a child molester wants to patrol the women’s bathroom for a young female victim, he can legally do so. This law has nothing to do with helping transgender people who make up 0.3 of the population. This is the devil getting men to pass a law that would cause division among the people. Prayer is not enough to stop these activities, we need to bind the devil from using our leaders.
Jesus destroyed the works of the devil but the devil has never accepted his defeat. The devil ACTS like he has power and that he can do what he says. The devil is a disembodied spirit seeking for human bodies to act in his place. People in darkness are so ignorant that they are willing to die in order to do the devil’s bidding. Can you now see why he is called the ruler of the darkness of this world? Do not stop praying and don’t neglect to put the devil out.
Jesus Redeemed me from the curse, no poverty, no lack in my house.
Wealth and riches in my home, the devil is rebuked for my sake.
Father daily loads me with benefits, He takes pleasure in my increase.
I love being redeemed,
and I give my Lord all the glory.
We are about to embark on the greatest adventure and outpouring of God’s Spirit! This month the Holy Spirit is asking us to examine ourselves/take inventory so as God’s Vessels we can take our part and place in the Body of Christ!
Scriptures to meditate on:

2 Cor 10:6 It is written, and having a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
1 Peter 4:17 For judgement begins at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

2 Timothy 2:4 No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of (civilian) life: his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him (God)! DO ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!
