Are Your Prayers Heard in Heaven

Everybody has a prayer  or two in their confession packet. If you listen to the way some folks pray, you quickly realize there is no hope of their prayer being answered. They have no faith for their own prayer. They don’t know what real prayer is. It’s just the religious thing to do so they offer something that sounds “godly”. How do we make prayers that are effective? Who can offer such prayers?

1 John 5:14 This is the confidence that we have in Him that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. VS. 15 And if we know that He hears us whatsoever we ask, we know we have the petitions we desire of Him.

The key to every successful prayer is knowing God’s will before you even pray. The attitude of a lot of folks is to throw out a bunch of “prayer” and hope one of them works! Every one of us should pray for results, not just to hear ourselves sound spiritual. Don’t consider any prayer until you have researched to find God’s will. If you don’t know God’s will, attend a good church that teaches the uncompromising Word. I don’t teach God’s Word because it’s the religious thing to do, I aim to build-up whosoever will hear.

Ephesians 6: 17 Take the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.
 Vs. 18 Praying always.

God gave us His Holy Word which contains the bases for all the prayers we will ever need. People who offer “powerless” prayers don’t know the Word of God! Prayer that is in opposition to the will of God is not prayer at all, it is willful thinking. If a man continues to pray in this manner and gets no results, he will begin to question God. Whatever faith he has will begin to diminish, he will think God is not hearing him. He would be right. God doesn’t hear “prayers” steeped in doubt and unbelief. God wrote the book for our sake. If we will follow instructions we will make our way successful.

Luke 11:1 One day Jesus was praying and when he had stopped, His disciples said to Him, teach us how to pray.

The prayers Jesus taught His disciples are recorded for our benefit. We have access to all those prayers. Thank God we don’t  have the pressure  of writing up our own prayer of petition. The prayers Jesus gives us are the same prayers He prayed. He got them all answered. God  is handing us a book of successful prayer secrets that He never wanted to be secret at all. It is the devil who wants prayer to be kept a secret not God.

James 5:16 The earnest heartfelt continued prayer of a righteous man  makes tremendous power available dynamic in its working.

We all owe our righteousness to the Lord Jesus. We also owe our knowledge of prayer to Him. God has done everything He can to make us prosperous in prayer, we just need to follow directions. Can you now see why the Lord deserves all the praise and the glory? Every prayer you take from your Bible is heard in Heaven. God’s response is YES! God always says yes to His own will. Every prayer based on His will should be accompanied with a heartfelt, thank you Lord.

When the Word of the Lord came to me, I began to be built up.

God's will is deposited in my spirit, and my soul is in agreement.

The Word decides my thoughts, I ignore how I  feel about them.

I prosper before I actually prosper, the Word is working mightily in me.

I will reap what I sow, and I will have what I say.
