When we read the Epistles of Saint Paul we don’t always stop to consider where he preached. Paul traveled all around the country winning converts in every city and in every country. The people were different from place to place but he never changed the message to accommodate anyone. Paul was commissioned and sent of God and the Lord met all of Paul’s needs according to His riches in glory.
Mathew 24:14 The gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
The Apostle Paul was an example of what the church should be doing. Lester Summerall traveled around the world preaching the gospel, he traveled by boat and trains. Now missionaries fly all over the world establishing churches. Jerry Savelle sends Joe McCroskey to the nations to start Bible Schools, Joe gives the students electronic tablets to hear and study the Word of God. Kenneth Copeland and Jesse Duplantis pay millions of dollars daily to broadcast the gospel on the airwaves. Billions of people are hearing the gospel and many are making decisions for Christ. The Lord sent Kenneth Copeland to Israel to preach to one woman and God payed for the trip.
Mathew 28:19-20 Go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Holy Ghost. And I am with you always, even to the end of the world.
Not all of us can go to the nations and be effective for Jesus, but we can support those who do. We are partners with Kenneth Copeland, Jerry Savelle and Jesse Duplantis, we help them to reach the nations. Fortress of Joy has a regional impact on people, but these ministries have an international affect and so we are pleased to partner with them. Just because we support world reaching ministries, we are not exempt from doing the same ministry in our community. When Jesus said “go into all the world”, He was referring to every man’s world.
God does not count His wealth by all the gold and silver He owns, but rather by the number of souls He possesses.
The mission of the church is to make God wealthy, to take back what the devil stole. Some churches have compromised the gospel to such a degree that they don’t have enough power to get people saved. Most of the people I led to the Lord were members of a church! Why does the local church exist? What is it’s purpose?
Ephesians 4:11-12 And Jesus gave the five elements of His ministry to men. For the equipping of the saints to do the work of the ministry.
You are a member of Christ’s body and you have a job to do for the Master. He will never ask you to do anything but that He first equip you. For some folks, you are the only one they will listen to, you are the only one they trust. God has more confidence in you than you do yourself.
Jesus Redeemed me from the curse, no poverty, no lack in my house.
Wealth and riches in my home, the devil is rebuked for my sake.
Father daily loads me with benefits, He takes pleasure in my increase.
I love being redeemed,
and I give my Lord all the glory.
We are about to embark on the greatest adventure and outpouring of God’s Spirit! This month the Holy Spirit is asking us to examine ourselves/take inventory so as God’s Vessels we can take our part and place in the Body of Christ!
Scriptures to meditate on:
Hebrews 12:1 Therefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
Psalm 26:4 Lord you can scrutinize me. Refine my heart and probe my every thought. Put me to the test and you will find it is true.
2 Cor 10:6 It is written, and having a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
1 Peter 4:17 For judgement begins at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
Psalm 139: 23, 24 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me of unbelief and lead me in the way everlasting.
2 Timothy 2:4 No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of (civilian) life: his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him (God)! DO ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!
